Robert K. Black 84, of Delavan passed away peacefully February 6, 2018. He was born in Janesville Wisconsin on November 29, 1933 to Elmer and Bessie Black. Bob was an avid traveler in his younger years and has shared those stories of his life's ventures with many of us. He loved to fish and hunt, then gave up hunting and began processing deer in his garage during hunting season. He was a Green Bay Packer enthusiast "Go Pack Go", loved doing things for people and sometimes was the local handyman for many. The one thing we will all miss most is his joke's, he loved telling them and playing them on many of us! Bob worked at many local companies after settling down in Delavan, Borg Indak, A.O. Smith, Libby's and retiring from Waukesha Cherry-Burrell/SPX in Delavan. He is survived by his wife Shirley of 44 years, his stepchildren Rick (Katie) Cossman, Jean (Rich) Parks, Dixie Bernsteen, Tim Cossman, Randy (Robin) Cossman, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children and step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Elmer and Bessie, brothers Earl, Elmer (Dude) and Ralph, sisters Helen Kargus, Roseanne St. Clair, and Frances Black. A memorial visitation/service of remembrance for Bob will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m., Saturday February 10, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W Geneva St, Delavan WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to St. Croix Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the family.
