Robert "Bob" Talaber

April 20, 1950 — May 2, 2025

Robert “Bob” Talaber, age 75, of Fontana, Wi. passed away on May 2nd, 2025. Bob was born on April 20th, 1950 in Chicago, Il. to the late Frank and Sandra Talaber.


Bob graduated from Wheaton Central in 1968, and continued to spend majority of his working years at Culligan. Bob was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help anyone in need. He happily married Barb (Peters) on May 16th, 1981, and they grew a family together to which he loved to spend his time with. Bob also made his love for the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks especially known. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, going on adventures, camping, and rock climbing at Devil’s Lake with family.


Bob is survived by his loving wife, Barb, and his children Carrie (Jason), Corinne (Chris), Samantha (Zach), and Ryan. As well as his grandchildren, Raymund, Lainie, Tyler, Emily, Kyle, Frankie, and CarrieAnn. Great-grandchildren, Leah, Seth, and Roman. He is also survived by his siblings, Judy, Bill (Kim), and Jane (Dan).


Bob is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, and many friends.


In honor of his love for sports, feel free to wear your favorite sports team apparel if you choose.
