Robert James Brown

Robert James Brown, 90, of McDowell Street, Delavan died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. Robert was born September 13, 1923 in Elkhorn,Wisconsin the son of Clarence and Martha Brown. Robert was a educated in Delavan graduating from Delavan High School in 1940. He then went to Michigan State University and eared a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1945. He was drafted into the Army Air Corp and served one year. He was an longtime member of St. Andrews Cathllic Church. He worked for many years at Harnischfeger Corp. in West Alliis, Wis before returning to Delavan he went to work for Amphenol-Borg in Janesville retiring in 1974. Bob was an avid NFL Football Fan. He is survived by neices and nephews. Funeral services are set for 11am Wednesday, March 19th at St. Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. James Scheurman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the family.
