Robert Philip "Bob" Militello

Robert Philip "Bob" Militello age 62, of Delavan, WI passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on the morning of Sunday, January 24, 2021. Bob was born to the late Philip and Joan (Schweiger) on June 26, 1958 in Melrose Park, IL. He graduated high school at Proviso East in 1976 and then went on to attend the Triton College where he majored in Business. Bob began coming to the Delavan Lake Area with his parents around 1976, and began working at as a store manager in the early 80's. With his father, Bob and Philip built, ran and operated the Maxi Shell Station in the Delavan Inlet. Bob returned back to school for an Exercise and Health Degree. He opened his business, OPT (Optimum Personal Training) For Fitness and Healthy Inspirations, in Delavan where Bob personal trained and helped with diet and lifestyle changes. More recently Bob has been employed with Larson Home Services out of Madison. Bob helped establish the Delavan Red Devils, the now Comets, Youth Football Program in 1995 with his dear friend Rocky and a few others. This program was very near and dear to his heart and he was the longest active original starting member. Bob was home on hospice where he was visited by several dear friends and relatives. He enjoyed his family and friends, watching the birds, coaching football and a new passion for flowers. Bob is survived by his loving wife Martha (Brown) Militello of Delavan Lake, daughter Stephanie of Delavan Lake, son Eric and Andrea of Sheboygan and his dear friend Barbara Militello. He was grandpa to 5 grandchildren, Desiree, Sebastian, Armon, Isabella and Camilla; whom he has so much pride in being grandpa too. Also surviving him are lots of relatives and many great friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents. A family celebration of Bob's life was privately held. In lieu of flowers please make all memorials in Bob's name to the: Delavan Youth football Program (P.O.
