Robert N. Stollfuss

On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Robert N. Stollfuss, passed away peacefully in Burlington, WI. He was 87 years-old.

Bob was born on March 22, 1936 in Oak Park, IL to Arthur and Berde Stollfuss. He grew up in Chicago and spent summers boating with his two older brothers at the family lake house in Powers Lake, WI. Bob graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology (Bachelor of Science). He worked for Hughes Aircraft, Rockwell International, and Sundstrand Corporation. He also served two years in the US Army.

Bob was a devoted Christian and spent time studying the Bible. Additionally, he enjoyed boating, using his mechanical engineering background to fix things or solve problems, writing computer programs, and maintaining the lake house.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Arthur, his mother Berde, and his brother Arnold. He is survived by brother Howard, sister-in-law Patricia, nephew Andrew (wife Rebecca and daughters Claire and Hannah), long-time close friend Mary Ann Giometti, and many other dear friends.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 10 - 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church (1101 Logan Street

Lake Geneva, WI 53147) with service to follow at 11 a.m. Bob will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
