Roberta Joyce ''Bobbi'' Edmunds

Roberta Joyce "Bobbi" Edmunds, 86 of Delavan died Wednesday, Jan 13, 2016 at Mercy Walworth Medical Center. "Bobbi" as she was fondly called was born June 4, 1929 in Janesville, WI. the daughter of Orville Olson and Delina Stinson. Bobbi graduated from Janesville High School. Bobbi was a correspondent for the Janesville Gazette for over 30 years. Bobbi married Donald L. Edmunds Oct. 13, 1948. Don predeceased her in 2009. She was an active member of the Delavan United Methodist Church and its church choir and United Methodist Women. She was a member of Delavan Olio Club. Bobbi was the church administrative assistant for over 15 years and church secretary for over 25 years. She was a teachers aide at Wileman Elementary School . Bobbi is survived by daughters, Ronlyn (Edward) Bauer of Delavan and Melody (Gerald) Johnson of Janesville. 2 sons, Donald C. (Sandra) Edmunds of Delavan and James (Lucille) Edmunds of Shirley, MASS. 9 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her sister June predeceased her , as did her parents and husband. Funeral Services are 4pm Saturday, January 16,2016 at the Delavan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Maribel Celiz officiating. Burial is 10am Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville. Friends may call at the church from 2 to 4pm Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016. Memorials may be made to the Delavan United Methodist Church. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Edmunds Family.
