Ruth Ann Louise Johnson

June 5, 1923 — May 14, 2017

Ruth Ann Louise (Neuhaus, Cammers) Johnson, 98 of Lake Geneva went to be with the Lord on Mother's Day May 14, 2017 at Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn, Wi. with the loving care of Aurora Hospice Care team. She was born June 5, 1923 in Abbotsford, Wi. the daughter of Richard J. & Nora Gosse Neuhaus. United in marriage to Edward Cammers Oct. 19, 1940, they had two daughters, Betty and Elaine. Was United in marriage to William Johnson May 24, 1958 in Genoa City, Wi. and he preceded her in death, Oct. 18, 1998. When married, he brought his daughter Judy into the family and Bill & Ruth together had a daughter Tammy. Ruth graduated 8th. grade from Prentice Wi. grade school. Over the years she worked at Electric Auto Lite, Trostels, Hevi Duty Electric, Hardees and took care of children in her home. Ruth was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, member of Sponholtz-Deignan an American Legion Auxiliary Post #183, Genoa City, Wi. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, spending winters in Florida and going on many trips. Surviving are her daughters, Betty (Larry) Johnson, Albany, Wi, Elaine (Wayne) Vorpage 1 Lake Geneva, & Tammy (Bruce) Sadewater, Roscoe, I1. 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great Great Grandchildren. 2 Nieces & a Nephew. Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Judy Albrecht, a Grandson Ken Krueger, and a brother LaVern Neuhaus . Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday May 19th. at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Martha Butzier officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Geneva. Visitation will be held at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lake Geneva. on Thursday from 5 to 8:00 P.M. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to time of services. Memorials maybe made in Ruths name to Sponholiz-Deignan American Legion Auxi1iary Post # 183, Genoa City, Wi. or the Aurora Hospice.
