Sharilyn R. Chironis

Sharilyn R. “Peco” Chironis, 72 years old of Lake Geneva, WI passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was born November 11, 1952 to the late Walter and Audrey (Champagne) Gimbel in South Dakota and then resided in Wausau, WI before moving to Lake Geneva. On May 16, 1982, Shari was united in marriage with her loving husband, Alex in Elkhorn, WI and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2019. Shari had a deep love for animals, gardening, reading, and traveling. She was one of the owners and operators of Harry’s Cafe on Main Street in Lake Geneva and a former Playboy Bunny at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club. Shari joined as a bunny in 1972, was a jet bunny in 1974 and 1975, and then acted as an assistant bunny mother beginning in 1978. Many people knew Shari by her bunny nickname, “Peco.” Shari will forever be loved, cherished, and deeply missed.

Survivors include, her best friends, Kristin (Michael), Gaven (Jordan), and Olivia Dooley; siblings, Rochelle (Tony) Dalnodar, Jerry (Paula) Gimbel, and Vikki (Brian) Christiansen; brothers-in-law, James, Louie (Linda), and Harry (Karen) Chironis; sister-in-law, Ann (George) Roche; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her husband and parents, Sharilyn was preceded in death by her sisters-in law, Christine Chironis and Mary D. Evans; and her adored four legged fur baby, Woolf.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025 at LAZARCZYK FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 515 Center St. Lake Geneva, WI 53147 from 4:00PM until the time of service at 5:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakeland Animal Shelter. Interment will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Geneva, WI. For additional information, please call (262)-248-2320.
