Shirley A. Black

Shirley A. Black age 83, of Delavan, WI passed away peacefully Thursday, October 24, 2019 with her family by her side at the Mercy Hospital of Walworth. She worked at Borg Indak and Borg Fabric where she met Robert Black and they married in 1973. She also worked at Lake Lawn Lodge in the Coffee Shop for many years and enjoyed working with the Ladies Aid at Our Redeemer Church. Shirley is survived by her children, Rick (Katie) Cossman, Jean (Rich) Parks, Dixie Bernsteen, Tim Cossman, Randy (Robyn) Cossman; grandchildren, Pam (John) Royal, Joe (Jessica) Irace, Matt (Christine) Irace, Nick Irace, Jeremy (Danica) Cossman, Tonya (Ben) Frieir, Nicole (Thomas) Fuller, Anna (Brandon) Grodsky, Promise Cossman; great-grandchildren, Lexi Royal, Zach Royal, Paige Irace, McKinley Irace, Gabriella Irace, Viviana Irace, Bianca‏Irace, Vincent Irace, Ezra Cossman, Eli Cossman, Jonas Cossman, Bell Frieir, Parker Frieir, Stella Frieir, Chase Zwickl; mother, Alma Wilkins; sister, Esther Veley; brother Jim (Julie) Wilkins; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Black; daughter, Pamela Cossman; son, Don Cossman, daughter in-law Alice Cossman, son in-law, Dale Bernsteen, father, Edward Wilkins and sister, Carol Greene. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (416 W Geneva St, Delavan) from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at the Spring Grove Cemetery.
