Sigmund B. Bergesen, 86, of Elkhorn passed to eternal life at his residence on Wednesday May 31, 2017. Sigmund was born July 5, 1930 in Chicago, IL. to the late Sigurd and Marie (Braadland) Bergesen. Sigmund married the late Mary Jane O'Malley in Chicago, IL. Sigmund was the Vice President of Operations at Alto/Shaam and CPA and Partner with Clifton Gunderson and Co. Loving father of Brad (Laura) Bergesen, Jean (Craig) Millard, Cheryl (Ronald) Jacobs, and Karen Bergesen. Loving Siggie to Jason (Carrie) Millard, Jennifer (Al) Krueger, Andrew, Amanda Bergesen and Bradley, Bryan, Taylor, Morgan Jacobs, and Shelby Semmelmann. Loving Great-Siggie to Raymund, Lainie, Justin, Kate, and Greta. Sigmund was preceeded in death by his parents, his wife, step-father Ole Ostergen, and his sister Marion Hommeland. Visitation Sunday June 4, 2017 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home from 4-6 pm and at the Church, Monday June 5, 2017 9-10 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Lake Geneva, WI. with Bishop Jim Schuerman officiating. Burial Roselawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial to the Wisconsin PVA appreciated.
