Stanley R. Johnson

Stanley R. Johnson 77, Lake Geneva died Saturday November 26, 2016 at the Lakeland Healthcare Center, Elkhorn, Wi. Stanley was born October 20, 1939 in Elkhorn, Wi. the son of Harold Knute & Arlene Williams Johnson. United in marriage to Georgene Adams August 30, 1958 in Lake Geneva and she preceded him in death Feburary 3, 2011. Stanely entered into the Laborers International Union of North America in May of 1958 and was a member of Local 464 until his death. Stan worked for Zinzow's Construction Co., Elkhorn, Wi. for twenty five years, Camosy Construction, Kenosha and Bane-Nelson Contractors, Kenosha retiring in 2000. Stan was blessed with three children, Family and Friends meant everything to him. He had a great sense of humor and was hardworking, kind hearted, generous man that had a deep love for his dogs frisky and Tucker. Surviving is his daughters, Deborah Boudreau, Janesville, Wi., Pamela Kingwill of Walworth, Wi. Nine Grandchildren, Heather Armstrong, Carrie Boudreau, Jaime Boudreau, Caitlyn Van Zandt, Britta Kingwill, Shaun Kingwill, and Dylan, Logan, and Kyle Johnson. Eight Great-Grandchildren, Briahna Boudreau, Justin Jr. Armstrong, Elijah, Isaiah, Michiah, Josiah and Kariah, Nickle and Marley Johnson and a sister Shirley Halpin of Lake Geneva. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Robert Johnson, step-father Roger Shroble, sister Sally Halpin, two brothers Ronald "Joe" Johnson and Victor Johnson. Private Family Services will be held on Friday December 2, 2016 at the Steinke Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Geneva with Bob Kamps of the Como Community Church officiating. Visitation will be held from Thursday from 4 to 7:00P.M. at the Steinke funeral Home. Memorials maybe given in Stanley's name to the Lakeland Animal Shelter of Fellow Mortals Wildlife Hospital.
