Stephen Timothy Murrin

Stephen T. Murrin, 59, of Williams Bay passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 24, 1957 in Chicago. He is the son of Edward T.and Marian Esbrook Murrin. United in marriage to Darlene K. Berhow on November 24, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. Member of the fraternal order of police of the Chicago Police Department. Was employed as a detective for the Chicago Police Department for 23 years; retiring May 15, 2012. Surviving are his wife, Darlene; daughter, Heather (Richard) Gernhofer of Chicago, sons, Thomas and Michael Murrin of Chicago. Grandchildren, Madison Murrin, Bradley and Caylee Gernhofer. Sister, Patricia (Herman) Miller of Palatine, IL and a brother, Edward (Judy) Murrin of Peoria, AZ. Preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Steinke Funeral Home with Fr. Dominic Thomas of St. Benedict's Catholic Church of Fontana officiating.
