Thomas Joseph 'Tom' Mcmanus

Thomas J. McManus passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2017 in Delavan, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 13, 1937 In Chicago, Illinois to the late Martin and Mary (nee Conroy) McManus. Tom met the love of his life, Mary Kay (nee McCollam) in 1954 at Rainbow Beach. They were married October 4, 1958 at St. Dorothy's Church and raised their family in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Tom worked for 42 years at United Airlines and enjoyed his retirement years with his family and friends in Delavan, Wisconsin and Naples, Florida. Tom was the loving father of Catherine (David) Danhauer, Maureen Niven, Sharon (Pat) Spata, Colleen (Donal) Quinn, Daniel (Joy), Michael and Timothy; proud grandfather of Brian (Leigh), Craig, Tara, Laura, Jessicca, Devin, Lisa, Katelynn, Meghan, David, Ethan, Aisling, Michael and Anne; doting great grandfather of Reece, Chloe, Wesley and Mae; caring stepgrandfather of Elizabeth and Kristina; and dear father-in-law of Terry Niven, Brenda McManus and Natasha Kennedy. He is also survived by his brother John, sisters-in-law Helen, Carol and Helen McManus and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brothers (sisters in-law) Joseph (Joan), Edward (Lorraine), William, James and Kevin. Betzer Funeral Home at 118 S. 2nd Street, Delavan, Wisconsin will host visitation on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services are Friday December 29, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Wayside Church at 434 W. Park Street, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
