Violet Gertrude Perkins

Violet G. Perkins, 93, Lake Como, WI died Monday May 12, 2014 at her residence. Violet was born Nov. 30, 1920 in Butt, Montana the daughter of Albert and Gertrude Bollinger Mengel. United in marriage to Ervin Perkins May 23, 1943 in Marshfield, WI and he preceded her in death Feb. 2, 2006. Surviving are: daughter Cheryl (Howard) Kincaid, Lake Geneva, WI and son Gordon (Bonnie) Perkins, Burlington, WI. 8 grandchildren, Cammy Melahn, Jay Kincaid, Laura Bonton, Krista Dudones, Rodney Young, Kirt Young, Ronald Hutter, and Heather Carro. 16 great grandchildren, and sister Virgina Severson. Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Marlene Hutter, a grand-daughter, Kimberly Perkins, and a brother, William Mengel. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 21, 2014 at the Como Community Church, Lake Como, with Pastor Bob Kamps officiating. Burial at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to time of services at the church. Steinke Funeral Home and Cremation Services are assisting the family with the arrangements.
