Walter Jerald 'Jerry' Peyer

Walter Jerald "Jerry" Peyer, 81 of Darien died at his home on Monday, April 3, 2017. Jerry was born July 26, 1935 in Lake Geneva, WI. the son of Walter Wm Peyer and Leola Hahn. Jerry married Mary Ann Braun May 18, 1957 in Fondulac. Jerry was in the Air Force Reserve. He owned and operated the Darien Job Shop which he bought from his father who also ran the well known shop specializing in Welding and Metal Fabrication. Jerry was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and directed the youth choir for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Darien. 3 daughters, Ann Marie (Trina) Peyer of Miracopa, AZ Mary Elizabeth Peyer of Walworth, Wi Susan Lee (Brian) Anderson of Delavan.6 sons, Dr. Greg Jerald (Patricia) Peyer of Westfield, WI, Robert Walter (Donna) Peyer of Virginia Beach, VA , Joseph George (Pam) Peyer of Delavan, William Lee (Fran) Peyer of Janesville, Dr. Patrick J. (Courtney ) Peyer of Wms Bay,WI and Jon Christopher of New Orleans, La 24 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11am. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Friends may call from 9 to 11am on Saturday at the church. Memorials to St. Andrews School are appreciated.
