Wayne Gene Bogard

Wayne G. Bogard, 71, of Springfield, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Wayne was born to the late Edward and Beatrice (Fay) Bogard on May 24, 1950 in Woodstock, IL. He married Barbara Ostrander on June 3, 1972 at the Como Community Church in Lake Geneva and had 49 wonderful years together. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting most of all. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Barbara Bogard; daughters Dawn (Brian) Losch and Tanya Summerville; grandchildren Gunner (Kaitlyn) Losch, and Hunter (Crystal) Losch, and Tapanga Summerville; and great-grandchildren Bo Losch, and Forrest Losch. He is also survived by his siblings Arlene Hoffman, Karen (Harold) Crotteau, and Kathy Wrzesinski, Jerry (Fay) Bogard, and Robert Bogard, sister-in-law Jean Bogard, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Thomas and Lyle Bogard. Pallbearers for Wayne's funeral will be Gunner Losch, Hunter Losch, Brian Losch, Robert Krepelan, Roger "Tyke" Mullen and Jason Bogard. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the FUNERAL HOME (515 Center St, Lake Geneva) from 11a.m. to 1p.m. with a service at 1p.m., Pastor Bob Kamps of the Como Community Church officiating.
