Wayne Allen Kohler

Wayne Allen Kohler, 83 of rural Clinton died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 after a battle with cancer. Wayne was born July 30, 1932 in Madison,Wi the son of Will Kohler and Edna Edwards. Wayne graduated from East Rockford High School in 1950. He then went to college to learn to be a machinist engineer. He was a Korean Army Veteran and belonged to the V.F. W. #1621 and Darien Am. Legion Post 450. Wayne worked for Sunstrand and L.T.L. Corp.'s for many years also having his own shop. Wayne married Mary Petkoff in Elkhorn,Wis August 22, 1991. Wayne is survived by his wife, Mary. One son, A.J. Justus of Delavan. 2 grandsons, Tyler and Ryan. 3 brothers, Wm, Kenneth and Robert. 4 sisters, Edith, Wilma Ruth and Fern. A gathering will be held from 10Am to 12noon on Saturday, Feb. 13, 201 at the Betzer Funeral Home , 118 S. 2nd. St. Delavan, Wi 53115 The V.F.W. of Janesville will conduct Military Services at 12noon. The family and friends will then adjourn to the Darien American Legion Post for a reception. Wayne's family extends a thank you to Beloit Regional Hospice for their tender care of Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Wayne Kohler Memorial Bench c/o Mary Kohler.
