Wayne Richard Zell

Wayne Richard Zell, 72, of Delavan, WI passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, WI after a very short but courageous battle with an aggressive brain tumor. He was born on November 10, 1943 in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Donald "Bud" Zell and Frances Jurgensen Zell. Wayne grew up in Walworth, WI where he graduated from Big Foot High School in 1961. He married Linda Berkley of Crystal Lake, IL on August 14, 1965, after which they moved to Delavan, WI, where they lived until his death. Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda. One son, Darrin Zell of Las Vegas, NV. One daughter, Amy (Adam) Grover of Chatfield, MN. One grandchild, Chloe Grover. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry. Services will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Delavan United Church of Christ-Congregational in Delavan, WI. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with a memorial service at 3:00 PM. We invite all to join us after the memorial service in the Fellowship Hall for coffee and a selection of Wayne's favorite cookies as we reminisce and share memories.
