William "Bill" F. Neiert

William “Bill” F. Neiert, 69, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2024. This loss was a shock to his family, leaving us deeply saddened by the sudden departure of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Bill was fortunate to find his soulmate, Kimberlee “Kim,” at a young age, and they shared 45 years of marriage. They raised their children Katie (Travis) Forsman and Matthew (Kayleigh) Neiert in Crystal Lake, IL, before embracing the tranquility of retired lake life. Bill adored his five grandchildren, finding immense joy in every moment spent together. He will be profoundly missed by Landon, Ridge, Ophelia, Sage, and Lorelei.

Bill enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like reading a good book, a solid afternoon nap on the couch, or fishing out on the lake. He loved a quiet night at home with Kim and time spent with his grandkids. Bill was a culinary master with the meat smoker and enjoyed cooking a delicious meal. More often than not, Bill could be found at the driving range or on the golf course. He was an avid golfer and passed that love on to his son and grandson, Landon. When asked how he would describe Bill, Landon said, “strong-minded,” and there’s no better way to say it. Bill was true to himself and his values. We will greatly miss his generally chill and quiet but strong presence.

Bill was born in Ohio and spent his childhood in Cincinnati. His career was in the commercial HVAC industry, and he slowly retired over the last few years from RAM Mechanical Services, Inc. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Patricia (Charles) Moorhead and Robert Neiert, and sister, Sharon. He is survived by his sister, Barbara (William) Maron, and her four children.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Bill's life on Sunday, May 19, 2024, between 1 and 4 p.m. at Delbrook Golf Club in the Connie Schulte Pavilion, located at 700 S 2nd Street, Delavan, WI 53115. In keeping with Bill's laid-back nature, the celebration of life will be an informal and casual event. We will also take a moment to honor Bill's love for golf by hitting balls at Delbrook's driving range.
