Yvonne Gladys Johnson

Yvonne G. Johnson, 77, of Twin Lakes, WI passed away peacefully to eternal life surrounded by family on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at home. Yvonne was born in Madison, WI on October 10, 1945 daughter to the late Ervin and Zeretta (Clark) Niebuhr. She married Clifford C. Johnson on April 30, 1977 at the Genoa City United Methodist Church. She was a lover of all animals and the changing of the seasons, from the deer that came to the house to eat on the feed set aside for them or the animals at the Humane Society. Yvonne loved to give back especially to the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus, sending in weekly donations to help in any way she could. Beyond the animals, She loved going to play bingo with Cliff, if bingo was a sport she would be the World Champion. Yvonne was the loving wife of Cliff C. Johnson; caring mother of Terry (Cari) Carro, Tracy (Richard) Fitzsimmons, Cliff (Sarah) Johnson, Jennifer (Wayne) Vignery, Beth (Wayne Amundson) Johnson, Greg (Dawn Landers-Edwards) Johnson; as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings William (Linda) Neibuhr, Naomi (Gerald) Schultz, Vivian Kendra, and Jean (Dean) Roanhaus. Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Jim Kendra. A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at the Calvary Community Church (N2620 Harris Rd, Lake Geneva, WI 53147) on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10a.m. until services at 11a.m. Following the services there will be a continued celebration of life and luncheon.
